Where were you when 9/11 happened?
I was in KTM preparing for my TOEFL exam expecting to get my F1 visa to the US...I watched the event that evening till late night on TV and was scared I wouldn't get to come here after all that happened.

I think this is also one of the "where were you" moments lots of people would remember.

So, where were you?

I was on my way to college. I noticed a larger than normal crowd. I wasn't paying much attention to the people talking around me but I remember people were loud seemed very confused. I was too sleepy and tired so I didnt bother, I went to dunkin donuts  for a nice cup of coffee. On my way to school there was a radio Shack with TV screens on display. There were a lot of people watching something so I took a peek, I saw on the news that smoke coming out of the twin towers and then one of the building collapsed and everyone started to cry and scream. I was shocked didnt even notice that my cigarette had burned to the end. Then the other building came down and all was smoke, debris and chaos. Indeed a very sad day.
