A Princess’s Journey to Freedom (part 1) (please rate my story writing)

In a distant kingdom, far beyond seven seas, a young princess grew up under the strict patriarchal rule of her father, the king. Restricted by tradition and denied personal freedom, she often dreamed of America—a land celebrated for its liberty and opportunity. When the princess finally arrived in the United States, her royal status spared her the financial and bureaucratic struggles many face when emigrating. However, having lived a sheltered life under oppressive rules, she was unprepared for the sudden and overwhelming taste of independence. Eager to experience the freedoms she had long been denied, the princess embraced her new life without restraint. She engaged in relationships without caution and, influenced by certain stereotypes, sought companionship with a man of a different race. This encounter led to an unintended pregnancy. Faced with immense societal pressure—especially given her kingdom’s strict views on premarital chastity—she made the difficult decision to terminate the pregnancy. Now burdened by guilt and fearful of scandal, she knew she had to secure a marriage quickly to avoid disgrace in her homeland, where purity before marriage was considered sacred. Her journey, which began with dreams of liberation, leaving her to navigate the consequences of her choices in this world.
