NO !! Even though nepal government official let you enter in nepal with that passport but you have to show over here( to airlines) and it looks like they are not accepting anymore

"The International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) has set a deadline of the 24th November 2015 for globally phasing out all non-Machine Readable Passports (MRPs). From 25th November 2015 onwards, foreign Governments may deny visa or entry to any person travelling with a non-MRP passport."

Thank you Instagram for your response. I did a research on my own and find out that people with a hand written passport needs some kind of travel document from their Embassy to travel until they get a MRP passport , link:
http://www.nepalembassyusa.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/Travel-Document-Application-New.pdf
To verify I called  (202) 667 4550 Nepal Embassy.  like 4 times , 3rd time lady name Teresa and some familiar Nepali Last Name answered , soon I explained my situation she transferred me to another line which went to VM. These guys have
72 Google reviews, and still not working enough to help their customers, I wonder what they would do to foreigners if they can't even help their own people. How can I put a formal complaint for these people ( Nepal Embassy , Employees) ?
