Hi users, I have been working with my employer (company A) for years but for this project I have lots of middle companies in between company A and client. It was ok for me as long as everyone was working together, It has been few months company B is giving very hard time (not making payments on time, not responding to any emails/calls etc). When I spoke to A for directly working with C, they said they have agreement with B and C said they have agreement with B too. Now does anybody have worked out this kind of situation? Is there a way to sort this out without having to find a new project? Sharing of any past experience is much appreciated.

Negotiate between your employer (A) and C. You may have to go on vacation for two weeks to show B that you have left the client.

Do this carefully .. If C is not supportive both A and you will be in a problem..

I spoke to company C and they said they want to see the agreement we have with company B then only they can decide. I can't give them agreement as it is confidential but lets say C agrees, company B is very cunning and they might go call other vendors to see if project is really over or if I really left. It seems like this could turn into a mess, ugh now I think I should just let the things be and deal with B until this project gets over.
