Friends,

I am looking for suggestion on this matter from some experienced friends. I am doing my research as well but some insights would be really helpful. Considering two options to file green card, which one is best?
(a) I qualify for EB2 category. However, my current employer always linger when I talk about it. They say they will file it but don't have precise date yet.
(b) Recent trend on green card filing shows that I can file green card through my spouse, who is a green card holder. USCIS website says it depends on the priority date.

If I file it instantly, how long will it take to get a green card. I guess there is no precise time frame as when it gets approved.
How long did it took for someone who went through the same process to get green card?

Thanks much in advance.
