does anyone here knows whether one has to keep going to school after I 485 becomes pending. I am filing i 485 this august and , i have a pending i 130 already. i am also going to apply for EAD and AP. Do i still need to maintain my status once they receive my application and send me a receipt saying my case is pending?

With I-130 pending, yes, you have to. Once they receive the application for I-485 and send you the receipt, you don't have to. Because your adjustment of status is pending, you don't have to maintaiin the current status.
