Reason for joining: "I run a charity, Rural Assistance Nepal (RAN) www.rannepal.org that works with government schools and to help improve healthcare in rural parts of Nepal. I also encourage people to visit Nepal, as tourists or volunteers to help in schools and healthposts."

 
I have been living in Nepal for over five years and run a small UK registered charity helping with some extra teachers at a few government schools, as well as nurses at a healthpost. I'm currently working on a project to set up a community hospital in the mid-western region of Nepal, at Bhalubang near to Pyuthan and Rolpa districts.

I am interested in making contact with Nepalis in the US who are interested to help with projects back home, in Nepal.
