Friends,

I hope you can help me out with my queries regarding applying to business graduate school in USA.

I had sent out couple of emails to admissions office at the US University and per their reply I need to have a masters degree to be considered as a graduate student.

I have Master's First year result and currently waiting for Master's Second year result. I don't know when 2nd years result will be in hand and I haven't started on my thesis yet.

My queries are:

1. Does US university, any US university in general accept students as a graduate student with Master's 1st and 2nd year result but without thesis? If university accepts students without thesis as a graduate student, I don't want to spend time working on my thesis but enroll into University asap.

2. Anyone knows when MBS Finance 2nd year result will be out?

3. Does TU provides Transcripts without completing thesis?

Thanks in advance.

They require 16 years of education for graduate school. Completing MS is 17 years (with 3 yrs bachelors). You can reply them with the first year marksheet (proof that states you have completed the first yr). It depends on University and department but they may accept (eligible for application) your application. Just give a try.

Research experience is a plus but not required. With thesis you may end up in a relatively better school though.

If  you have a four years bachelor then it shouldn't be a problem. But you have a three years degree and uncomplete masters then you have to complete it. It is ok without thesis. But most of the universities require WES couse to course evaluation. i would suggest you to be patience and wait for your second year result and apply.

Hope this helps.

Thanks guruji and unitednepali for your input.

I just have 3 years Bachelors. I had sent out Bachelor's transcript and Master's 1st year result. University wanted me to show the proof of Master's completion.

If it is just Masters 1st and 2nd year result without thesis then I will wait for the result as unitednepali suggested then apply.
