 Yeah....May be back in the days Newars were the Business oriented people,selling and profit making their only motive,  and rest of the ethnicities were customers. So,it would make sense to say that businessman won't be your ista and your bau cant be dusta.....!

@geology tiger, I never heard of this quote before. When I heard this first time a week ago, I was shocked. First I felt it's just made up one.  But after reading so many posts, I am confirmed it is out there. You are right, should care about it but was just curious. @dallu, what's the relevance of the link, didn't get it. I read that news long ago, sad. @all the way, it was just a curiousity. I didn't mean to inflame any racist arguments. In fact, it's just a discussion where a guy is simply asking other folks about the quote he was confused about as he didn't know such a quote existed.  And, that link of mine above is with all good virtues is a response to all other racist posts as 'Indian vs Nepalese' sort of hatred filled posts. I don't think I've written a single word against any indigenous group or person specific, so how did I ignite the racism here? Think before you write, my friend :D Perhaps you just read the heading and skipped out everything there after and wrote those words of yours above. @sanju.baba, makes sense :D

I think we should change this kind of quotes (Ukhan) , we can't blame to the people who made this quotes as they were living in that kind of society in that period of time . So we can change it into new ones ,...eg for this we can change " नेपालमा जनता दुस्ट र नेता इस्ट कहिले पनि हुदैन" !!
