After living in the US  for almost a decade (J-1 & F-1 but major portion was F-1) I went to Nepal and luckily got my F-1 visa. I am thinking of filing for asylum but dont know how to or the pros and the cons of the matter. Can someone please shed some lights on the issue. Any thoughts, comments and queries will be much appreciated. Btw, I live in TX.
Thansks.
