hi all i want to buy a car but my credit is not good.actually a few years back i was seriously ill and i was admitted to a hospital. i didnt have health insurance back then so i could not pay the hospital bill. but now after 2 years i just paid off all the bills through collection agency. i paid them all but one of the credit agency is still asking for a copy of my social, license and everything..i told them that i paid the amount and when i ask for my score and stuff they still tell me to send a copy of my social, license etc..what should i do in order to know how much my credit score is..i know its bad but still i wanna knmow so that i can improve it. Another thing, i want to buy a car from a dealership. i dont have enough money to buy a decent car in cash. i know i have bad credit. can i still go to the dealership and get a decent car even tho my credit sux. i need serious suggestion. thanks

To know your credit score go to freecreditreport.com If this is not working, there are services which will let you know on a free trial for a month. After a month they will charge you, so get registered and within a month close that account. I know man, being ill is a pain here, that's why i go to Nepal if i have to do any medical stuffs, and i have an insurance which makes it even weired, rip off corporation.

thanks poon-hill for the suggestion. but the wierder thing is that for some divine f#kin reason i cant use my credit for shit..seems like they are blocking my credit because last week i tried to rent a car and then i got denied coz of the credit issue. i tried applying for a credit card too but was denied again. not just because of my shitty score but alos because it seems like i have a hold or some shit like that in my credit. the most important question i wanna ask here is: HOW DO I IMPROVE MY CREDIT SCORE? And do u guys think i will be able to get a car thru a dealership even tho my credit is pathetic. should i try going to a big american dealership or just a medium dealership made for mexican people? I NEED HELP
