Hi guys. I am in ireland on student visa and planning to move to USA on the same visa. I have heard that i can apply there on tourist visa and can change to student visa after i reach there. Is that possible.please help

Yes you can try that.I have seen people who did that.But its not 100% sure that you will be able to change.But nothing wrong in trying.Here also school are looking to make money out of international students so you can try your luck.But do little research about the university where you want to apply and where you are going to stay so that the transition process is smoother for you.

Absolutely. Most visas can be adjusted to F-1 and visitor visa is one of them. Once you arrive in the USA, visit the international school advisor of your school of choice and they will help.
