Hello mitra Bandhuharu, I have a friend who teaches in a University. He told me that his H1-term is going to finish in June, 2010 and he is moving to Canada where he holds permanent residence. He is looking for sponsorship to apply for US GC. Is there any possibilities that he can apply for GC in US? Thanks in advance

And he asked you this question thinking you might be the expert, and of all the places you come here to ask us, lol. Why is it that all the immigration related question in Sajha is always for my brother-my-friend-my uncle not for themselves...I wonder. I don't see him getting a GC unless he has "extraordinary" qualities that might qualify him for EB2 via NIW, google it for more info. Companies normally sponsor GC after atleast a year or two via EB2 or EB3 normal process.

Thanks, Kiddo, it's my freewill to help him. He didn't ask for it. He is just confused what to do and planning to move to Canada not knowing what he is going to do there with no job there either.

Khumbule: If he has a PhD and few publications in well known journals, he will qualify for the extraordinary class... Good luck. Kiddo: This advice actually comes from my uncle's best friend's boss whom I ususally go for advice if I don't get the right one in Sajha...
