haha..yestai ho sathi..may be you're home sick..we all are going to miss our normal life that we spent back in hometown..things would never be the same again..

i was happy when i 1st came to US cos i had big ambitions just like anyone and thought it would be great if don't have to depend on anyone. suru ma ta i spent lot of time surfing net. Internet became my best friend cos i could surf it anytime without any limitations...hahaha..nepal ma cyber ma paisa tirera chalaunu ra password chorera phone line bata chalaunu..it's a diff. plane..aru free time juz hangin out with frens (nepali as well as other international) and playing soccer and snooker and partyin' on weekends.hhahaa..yestai ho life...u'll have your time as well..

I had the same feeling like you did. i wanted to transfer to community college as well cos it's lot cheaper that univ. which i did in my 2nd semester. n i desperately wanted to find job to support myself. well i hope you have finished your 1st sem(fall) already.. may b you're on a roll to transfering to community college in spring....all the best...

Get out of ur room and try to talk to people. It is easier to start with international friends. Mingle with people as much as possible.

Go to recreation center at ur uni regularly. If u exercize more u will get asleep in time and a lot of things will become easier.

Take care.

thinking about what is past will only make you sad. Be present at the present, enjoy the company of people at your uni (you will miss it later). Make friends. people might seem weired at first just keep an open mind and try new things.
and above all know that you are not the only one who feels sad/boor. Many people areound you (gora, kala, bideshi etc) feel the same and are waiting for someone to come along.
