Hey Purana kagaz, I been looking a good school for biostatistics myself too for last couple months. So can you please tell me the school that you are planning to attend. Since you mention above that you already receive G. A i am hoping assistanships possibility is high, if not what are the chances. Im planning to attend from spring of 2010. Any help from you regarding this matter would be very much helpful to me.   And i would certainly appreciate that.

Thanks

Hey PG,

That depends on your personal interest and background. With Biostat, you will get job, however with biomedical E. you will get job but with higher salary bracket (I guess). If you want to be a part of reaserch, Biostat may be better. If you want to be a researcher, BE may be better options.

If I were you, I will look back at my background and make plans- talk to few folks in the respective field and decide.

Good luck.

Dharan
