I do not agree. I see art, not who they are performing. If the music compose can touch my feeling, I say Hell YA dhoti music. I watch hockey where Indian team plays. I am not a big fan of Hindi movies, but I watch sometimes.Well I saw Prashant Tamang perform in Indian Idol too. Nepali music and show are great. I enjoy everything shown on Nepali Television channels except nepali movies. It may be due to degraded quality of Nepali movie. I tried to love Nepali movie but couldn't help myself. Everytime, immature acting, sambhujit baskota singing, I hate it man, really.... I have seen the behaviors of dhotis a lot in my life. I do not like them but they have got to do nothing with their movies, music and games. My Message: LOVE ART

i hate bollywood . i don’t like at all. i simply cant stand on bollywood movies at all. It’s just stupid, bizarre and predictable.so i hate it and it's been good 3 yrs that I haven't intentionally watched/listened movies, songs or other desi stuff.

Trust me...you'll not die if you do not watch Indian entertainment. Life goes on. 10+ years of abstinence from India and all things Indian. Nothing against them, but I prefer our own, good or bad. It's not a showoff of patriotism, only adjusting my priorities.

lol....hell yeah...i was addicted too once upon a time.....and it was literally crazy to the extent that i started having dreams where i was the star singing in a medley....Thank God!!Im glad its totally gone now....cos I'm able to lock my interest in movies that really stands out to me nowadays....My suggestion would be: perhaps u can try being real choosy in which one to watch, take your time and make sure that u can come to a conclusion that ur time spent is worth the while! hope this helps for u....cos it is working for me. And the upcoming hindi movies seem to be lacking alot in content wise, so i believe it wont be impossible for u to outbeat ur addiction at the moment!!! Last edited: 29-Mar-09 02:42 AM

Ridiculous..    It is not only Nepali people who watch indian cinemas.. people of lots of countries in east asia, middle east and europe now  watch hindi cinemas and they have no problem from indian authorities.. It is not because we watch hindi movies.. that india has such behave with nepal and nepalis.. but it is the way our leaders behave with them... As somebody pointed above, Enjoy art.. without any prejudice.. it can be korean, chinese, indian or american.. - that's it! Art is art. PS. I dont watch indian movies as I find them really unrealistic, however, I dont support any activities that tries to label art and music to certain ethinicity or boundries.. this is 21st century.. think big!

sulab and gwarch: I m the one who dont listen watch any hindi programs or songs by myself but being in nepali community u r forced to listen: u r in a nepali gathering they sing , dance in hindi ...........So there I listen hindi music Its been almost 2 year I have been doing that Its not because i hate indians Actually when i came to US .............every aspect of our life was connected to hindi culture, entertainment etc etc I felt we are having identity problem which we DO we people dont actually appreciate music movies as art as some of the above mentioned posts...............we r just addicted (otherwise if u appreciate the art then u will appreciate the people who created those ) I see a lot of hate posts for indians..........and I am sure those r the people who watch indi programs most
