IS THIS TRUE???

Indian design to finish Nepali economy
Thursday, 19 March 2009
BY OUR ECONOMIC CORRESPONDENT

I SEE, IC: Will the Indian currency eclipse the Nepali rupee?

By all accounts, India is all set to review the currency rate between the two countries very soon. At present one hundred Indian rupees is equivalent to Nepalese rupees 160 and according to this fixed rate, the rates of other foreign currency, including the US dollar are set.

“I don’t know why our political leaders and economists are not doing anything about this, which can finish off our whole economy,” he had then said.

Now also, reliable sources claim that the Nepali economy would totally cave in, if this policy of India is implemented. “There are reports that India has made an elaborate plan to implement this plan,” one source said and he warned that the new rate of the Indian currency could go as high as Nepali rupees 215 to 250 for one hundred IC after that decision of India.

Another alarming factor is that there seems to be a well worked out plan to first create a shortage of Nepali currency in the market. This could be done both by India buying Nepali currency for a short term and also by panic buying of foreign currency by the Nepalese themselves. “Most of the Nepalese industrialists and prominent people hardly have any Nepali currency, they have already whisked away their hard cash to foreign banks or bought foreign property,” another source said.

He added that if the present plan of the Indian policy makers is a success, then the price of one US dollar could go higher than NC Rs. 100. This would take a terrible toll on the country’s economy and would further aggravate the already difficult conditions of the average Nepali individual.

“If such a situation comes, no government would be able to exist in Nepal and the successfully functioning banks of the country would turn bankrupt,” a senior economist warned.

This could be a deliberate plan of India to make Nepal a failed state and make it easier for it to impose its policies in this troubled nation.

This is all our fault. we watch their every dhotis program. we listen to their song. we wore their cloth. we eat rice produced by them. we use their high cost  eletricity and sold our in low price to them.  what ever we do, we do depending upon them. Even our foking minister ask them what to do? man look at this situation now king is there to ask what to do?
All i can say is we are being  focked by them.
Guys let's  abandon them and their product to some extent.

i know  some of our nepali brothers and sisters are so addicted to theirs product from movie to song to some other things.

GUYS NO MORE FOKING DHOTIS. FOCK THE FOCKING FOCKERS BEFORE THE FOCKERS FOCK US.

You guys gotta chill. I can't believe that you think it is India's fault in this matter. First, this is what happens when you have a fixed exchange rate instead of floating, especially when one country is having a greater economic boom compared to the other. India has been enjoying nearly double digit economic growth for the past decade while Nepal's economy was slumping, mainly because of the SOBs that are running the government. You can try to cheat the free market for a time, but what does capitalism tell us? At some point it will all come to equilibrium. When IC was getting stronger against the dollar, NC was riding the wave, but it was only because IC was fixed against NC.
India had already realized that NC was highly overvalued against IC. The clock was already ticking. If they decide to reevaluate the exchange rate, we are all screwed. But it's really our own fault. With all the goods coming from India, expect to see enormous inflation as well!

1)  NEPAL IS A LAND-LOCKED COUNTRY  and LACKS INDUSTRIALIZATION - THERE IS NO OTHER WAY FOR US TO BE SUSTAINABLE OTHER THAN BY IMPORTING GOODS FROM INDIA....SO WE ARE TRAPPEND BECAUSE WE ARE SO DEPENDENT ON THEM ....EITHER WE GOTTA FIND NEW WAYS LIKE (GOING CHINA) ... WHICH IS VERY DIFFICULT

2)  IF THEY DO THIS IN THE NAME OF NEW ECONOMIC FAIRNESS AND CAPITALISM - SAYING NEPAL WASN'T ABLE TO GROW IN TERMS OF ECONOMIC GROWTH OF INDIA ..THAT WOULD BE UNFAIR BECAUSE NEPAL HAS HINDRANCES LIKE LACK OF GOOD INFRASTRUCTURE....WHICH INDIA HAS ...THE REASON WHY ALL THESE FOREGIN COMPANIES CAME TO INVEST IN INDIA IN ... INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND CALL CENTERS AND STUFF ...SO CAN'T BLAME NEPAL FOR NOT BEING ABLE TO GROW LIKE CHINA AND INDIA ...

3) iNDIA HAS ALWAYS HAD A HAND ON THE RISE AND FALL OF NEPALESE ECONOMY ..IF NOT BY CURRENCY EXCHANGE..THAN BY PRICING ON THE PRODUCTS..... WHICH WOULD ULTIMATELY HAD EQULIBRIUMISED (LOL)  EVERYTHING...

4) SO IT WOULD  BE IMMORAL ON PART OF INDIA TO CHANGE THIS CURRENCY RATE ...COZ THAT WAS THE CONTRACT ... WITH NEPAL

5) I KNOW WE DONT HAVE MUCH HAND ..BUT THEY BETTER LET US GROW ..THIS WOULD BE GOOD FOR EVERYONE IN THE LONG TERM.

6) Incase they don't do so ..and try to be greedy with their tighetening economic policies + foreign policies ....like tighetening with NEpal because of economic crisis ........in the long run, it won't be fruitful to them.......

7) lucky seven ........yes, THE WHOLE WORLD BETTER BE FRENS WITH NEPALESE PEOPLE.....CAUSE THEY are the nicest AND THEY HAVE GOOD SOULS .............ELSE, PASUPATI NATH WILL CURSE THEM ALL .................IF THEY BUST US, WE WILL BUST ALL THE FAKE DHOTIS ALL OVER THE WORLD....AND ALL THE TAX CHEATERS.....ALL THE H1 ABUSERS....WE WILL GOTO LABOR DEPT AND COLLECT ALL OUR BACKWAGES...AND NOT JUST TAKE THEIR DHOTI OUT BUT TAKE MUCH MORE ....DON'T MESS WITH NEPALEASE PEOPLE.....THEY CAN DO EVERYTHING FOR FRENS......BUT THEY CAN BE LIKE HELL..IF U TRIED TO BE UNFAIR TO THEM OR BE IMMORAL ...........GOOD LUCK
