I have a AVCHD (1080 interlaced) camcorder, (Sony SR-12). I need to edit some video clips.
Can you suggest the best movie editing softwares for this kind of video types that is 1) available for free, 2) not free but is cheaper yet better?

i use adobe premiere pro cs3. it's great, but video rendering can take a lot of time if your machine isn't fast enough. cs4 bundle is also out by now, but haven't gotten time to download it yet. here's the link for cs3: http://www.filedownloadfull.com/2008/10/adobe-premiere-pro-cs3.html the download is free of course!

Thanks Bhikhari. But, i heard that Adobe Premire professonal is not free software. how come it is available over there? i have not tried downloading it yet, virus attach ta chhaina tyo link ma??????????

no viruses at all. ma aafaile use gardai chhu, so you can take my word for it. the downloaded files are .rar compressed files. simply extract 'em, hit install and enjoy! i'm not sure if they include a crack with the download. of they don't, google adobe cs3 keygen and you'll be on your way. g'luck
