FRIENDS! I WENT TO SEE THE FAREWELL PROGRAM FOR THE RAJA RAM PAUDEL. BUT

IT WAS NOT THE WAY I EXPECTED THERE. I THOUGHT AT THERE GONNA BE LOTS OF NEPALI ARTIST FROM THE BALTIMORE OR FROM THE VICINITY OF BALTIMORE LIKE VIRGINIA AND WASHINGTON DC. I HEARD THAT LOTS OF ACTOR ACTRESS LIKE  SARANGA SHRESTHA, KRISTI MAINALI, POOJA CHAND, HARISH MATHEMA, JAL SHAH, AND MANY MORE ARE IN DC/MD/VA AREA BUT I DID NOT SEEM ANYOF THEM IN THE PROGRAM EXCEPT SOME OF THE POPULAR FACES LIKE SAROJ KHANAL, KARISHMA MANANDHAR, RAMESH UPRETY, ANUPAMA PRASAI, SUNIL UPRETI, PREM CHARO AND OTHERS. THEY CAN TRAVEL FROM HERE TO THERE FOR ANA  CONVETION BUT DON'T THEY HAVE TIME OR MONEY TO FAREWELL THEIR OWN COLLEAGUE FROM THE ART LINE MR. RAJA RAM PAUDYAL? SHAME ON THEM...  THIS PROGRAM WAS NOT SOLELY ORGANIZED FOR FUN ONLY .. ACTUALLY THE PROGRAM WAS ARRANGED TO HONOUR HIM FOR HIS CONTRIBUTION IN COMEDY FIELD IN THE USA.

ANYWAY IT WAS VERY WONDERFUL PROGRAM DONE BY TEAM 8848.

CONGRATS TEAM 8848 FOR YOUR GREAT EFFORT AND THANKS TO OTHER NEPALESE

ORGANIZATIONS FROM D-M-V AREA.

If the artiste community don't respect/support their own colleagues how will the general Nepalese care to do so at all?

There is no excuse for the Nepalese artistes who are located in the DC-MD-VA area but still did not attempt to attend the farewell get together for a much senior one like Raja Ram Poudyal.

Hat off to the ones who attended.

In my honest opinion, it would be quite a stretch to call most (not all) of Nepali and Indian artists artists.  They are no artists.  Some(again not all) have name recognition within certain circles, so they are more of a product.  But artists?  Puh-lease! 

Even the supposed king of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, would be hard pressed to be referred to as an artist.  His acting is so single dimensional, he is the same in almost every freakin' movie.  But he has name recognition, so he is a product that advertising firms use. 

Now to talk about Kollywood folks... they just follow Bollywood.
