Comparing the Maoist party with a spark, the former deputy prime minister said that it will fall over in eight years.

Speaking at the seventh convention of UML Tehrathun-Kathmandu Contact Forum in the capital today, Oli compared the Maoists with weed and said that the Maoists will die out in the same fashion they grew up. “They will be left behind in the next election,” he added.

He asked the UML cadres not to be upset with the loss in the Constituent Assembly polls and said that the party appointed Bamadev Gautam home minister not for ‘giving poses for photograph’ but to act. He added, “Action will be taken against those bullies who take law in their hands now.”

Oli claimed that the security situation has been improved after Gautam became home minister and said he will teach a lesson to those who have captured people’s property and those who locked up the government employee in toilet witlessly.
