One of my friends came to US on a visitor’s visa and his stay expires on September 08. He was working part time on some restaurant staying in some motel room with some of his friends who worked with him. Last week one fine morning Cops and immigration came to his room and took all of them and after the inquiry they made him sign a statement stating that he is working part time. He is in dilemma now. He gotta multiple visa for 5 yrs. He wants to go back by himself. If he goes back can he come back to US after 6 months?  Homeland security also told him that he can go back without attending the court date? He was also saying that he has to go back to homeland security with his passport and return flight date so they will make sure that he boarded the flight.

Can you guys please suggest what he should do?
