Here is my situation.  I’m under H1 visa and planning to go to Nepal later this year just for a week.  To be on safe side, I’m planning to get my US Visa from Canada so I don’t have to worry about getting early appointment.  My question is do I need to get Canada Visa too since my interview will be at Toronto?

                     Yes you need to apply for a visa to go to canada since you are on F1. You can sent your application to canadian embassy or consulate or you can walk in either way. Also make sure you get an appointment with US embassy in Toronto. They are usually backed for atleast a month or two. Good Luck

Thanks Himalaya.  When you say walk in, you mean canadian consulate?  Since I don't live at DC or NY, I think I need to mail.
