2-Money is no object to you. No problem just fork out $500, for 10% of the features you actually need. After all you can’t put a label on “quality”
3-Installing a new program is no challenge for someone like you. It merely requires enough determination to stick with it. After Next Next Next the Finish will eventually come. And hey you got a load of other “freebies” too!
4-You blindly trust corporate America, if Microsoft thinks an update is good for you then they must be right, after all they created the damn thing.
5-You are a conformist. Your idea of a perfect desktop is just like the next guy. Your taskbar should be blue and at the bottom, just like everybody else.
6-There is no problem you can’t fix. A weekly reinstall keeps everything snappy.
7-You are the ultimate born tweaker. Once you even changed the “start” on the Start menu to your name!
8-You are a “perfectionist”, an OS should take at least 7 years to develop.

Why Windows pwnz Linux - an imaginary case study

Let me show you an example where Windows is better than Linux (I don't mean better as in actually better :p).

Ignore for a moment all the crap about Windows being pre-installed and such. Let's say you have a computer-newbie friend, called Compy McNewb, who's just bought a new computer and is getting ready to install an OS.

He's got two computer-savvy friends. You, who urges him to use Linux. And another friend, who urges him to use Windows.

Which one will Compy pick? Let's go through the reasoning.

• Linux is being offered for free. Good.
  
• He can get a pirated copy of Windows from his friend. Also for free. Good.
  
• But Windows is sold for over three hundred dollars, while Linux is offered for free.

Here's what Compy McNewb sees. He can get both OS's for free. But one of them is worth over three hundred dollars, while the other one is worth nothing.

"That's not true!" I hear you scream. "Linux is worth a lot! It's just being offered for free!" I know it's not true that Linux is worth less than Windows. It's far more valuable to the end user in terms of getting things done.

But that's not what Average Joe Computer Newbie sees. He sees a free product versus a three-hundred-dollar product he can get free. It's all about the perception!

Someone said, Windows is better than Linux because windows is more like having an unprotected sex whereas Linux is like using condom, pills and all the contraceptives at the same time.

I still go for Linux though.

I think its the opposite..... Window is like have sex using Comdom ( Antivirus), Birth Control Pills ( Spybots), Contraceptives (Registry Softwares) and so on........ and LINUX Just do it without anything......
One thing is for sure YOU WILL GET MORE PLEASURE AND SATISFACTION OF YOUR FREEDOM using Linux.
