Hi Guys,

I have been suffering from PSORIASIS since last few years. I have several patches on my knees, elbows, back and chest. I am regularly applying some ointment recommended by dermatologist. However, the ointment only reduces/control the spreding but cant cure. I was told that its not curable either. I am feeling very depressed beacuse of that. I also reffered several articlews and notes from the internet but I could not find any practical ones. So I would like to request you to provide some valuable info in this regard if you know something about this. Thank you in advance.

Psoriasis rosea is a kind of autoimmune disease. It appears in different forms such as arthritis ( joints inflammation) and patches as you said.

There are some possible chances where gene therapy can cure this condition. As a prophylaxis, I would recommend you to give more emphasis in your feeding habit. You should be very cautious and try to avoid bacterial contamination in any circumstances.

If you do so. Your life longevity remains constant and physical condition will also improve. Have courage!

Thank you Narayangarh Suburb. Since you emphasized to improve my food habit, what type of food I should consume or avoid. In nepal Dr. Shaev told me not to eat fish and egg and alchohal but here in the US I was told to have fish instead. He (general physician) didn mention anything about eggs and alchohal though.

Pls advise. Thanx

maplekanchha,

I know there is some medications in Ayurveda for psoriasis. You can consult ayuvedic doctors once to take advice.
