I saw the survey published in nepaltimes conducted by nepal team in collaboration with the South Asia Democracy Study Group and International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (IDEA). In my analysis the survey do not give any conclusion as such. When 82.4% of responded answers that they have heard but do not understand or have not heard about Constitutional assembly at all, 92.3 % have not heard or heard but do not understand about federalism at all and 87.6% have not heard or heard but do not understand about republic, what is the value of the whold survey as such. Can we conclude anything out of this survey about the future trend even thought 57.8% of those ignorant respondent says Monarchy should be abolished. Moreover, only 34.4% wants to vote for NC, UML and Maoist altogether. Even if we believe that the survey represent the general views of the pubic, King still enjoys 41.3% of support compared to 34.4% by these 3 parties.

I am sure that some of you may accuse me of being King's supporter and some of you may even use abusive words, but ask yourself, does this survey means anything to anyone.

I don't trust their poll, almost always against parties, and pro-king in the past.
