 Three Missed Periods

First period missed:
Rewind 20 years. Grade 1. Waiting at the bus stop, low eye line, lots of belts in sight. Shoes mattered a lot because one of the few things close to mind. Chakka Jaam. First period missed. English Class. Miss extra nice to me.

Second period missed:
Fast forward 5 months into grade 1. Arduous homeworks. Rather be playing. First few English sentences created. Unknown to me, missed putting period on the second sentence of my homework.

Third period missed:
Fast forward 14 years from grade 1. Girlfriend missed her period she wasn't in the first grade.
Fast forward 16 years from grade 1. Girlfriend missed her period she was a native English speaker and writer.
Fast forward 18 years. Girlfriend missed her period, period
