does anyone here know how long it takes to get Interview after filing for Adjustment of Status based on marriage to US citizen.

Not really, but I have heard anywhere from 8,9 to 13, 14 months. Do they not have this kind of info at USCIS websites or you are just being lazy?

i dont know a lot about immigration.

i called a lawyer and they said $2000 .. i told them f*** that.
and filled out the forms myself.

and i sent them to the Chicago lockbox just yesterday.

my i-485, i-130, biographic sheet, i-131, EAD form, Affadit of support and other supporting documents.


i live in Minneapolis, MN, so will USCIS transfer my case to MN ??? there is a USCIS local office like 15 minutes from my place but iv never been there.

Oh.. well then they should be sending letters with infos regarding your case. I think chicago is one of the busiest center. Anyway, they will have local immigration office handle all the interview sort of things. After you get letter or so with case number, you can always call them or even set up online account if I am not mistaken. That's all I know.
