Nepal Defend ACC U-15 Cup Title

Nepal successfully defended the title of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) U-15 Cup (Elite Group) cricket tournament after the final match against the United Arab Emirates ended in a draw today.
Nepal earned 16 points, while restricting the UAE for just eight points.
In the first innings, Nepal amassed 177/7 riding on Suvendu Pandey's half century and skipper Prithu Baskota's knock of 35. Krishna Karki led Nepal's bowling attack and helped the defending champions pack the UAE for a paltry 75 runs in the first innings.
In their second innings, Nepali batsmen proved their caliber again and scored 200 runs in 94.3 overs, setting UAE an improbable 303-run target. In reply, the UAE were at 49/2 before the close.
