I just read some news on Hindustan times where Girija advocated for ceremonial king. Is he insane? Despite the fact that so many people lost their lives to get him to the post of PM, he seems to be indifferent to the aspirations of the people. A quote from Hindustan Times:

Insisting that he was not a republican, Koirala on Wednesday said Gyanendra could be a ceremonial king like the British queen. At a meeting with a delegation of the South Asian Free Media Association, Koirala asked: "What is the harm if he stays as Lord Pashupati?"

A what?????

This is not new. Girija has always been saying this. Did not you listen his nterview to BBC Nepali Sewa when Andolan was at it's peak. He says he is in the boarder line. If people crosses it, he does not mind. That is why people in the khulamanch Aamsabha were demanding him there. They wanted to show that they have already crossed the boarder line. They were asking him to join the stream if he can other wise go to hell. He did not show up there because of people's fear. He has experience of getting dhunga mudha at the similar show in 1990.
