Now most probably the king is history, Unless SAP comes up with some accommodation. Next stage may be, in absence of the king, SAP trying to hold on the power and Maoist continuing their protest followed by the showdown between SAP and Maoist. At that stage there is two possibility first -Indian interventions to support SAP. Second-India keeping aloof, Maoist in power sidelining SAP. Then king supporter and other extreme right group fighting against Maoist (this has happened many different countries) and Nepal entering into another 10 yrs of Chaos।

I thought India was instrumental in forging the alliance between SAP and Maoist to press the king. And it was India who pressed the king to made yesterdays announcement. This Indian trick seems to be failed at least for now. A failed autocrat king, corrupt and can do nothing SAP Maoist with obsolete ideology

We Nepalese seem to have lost tolerance. Lots of posting in sajha lack deep thoughts only "chada mukh". The extent they support King or SAP is forcing me to feel may be they are the ppl who benefitted illegally during the respective rule. Are we that bad ?? is it so difficult for us to manage our country?? It seems to me that we Nepalese do good when we are “kulli” “Durban” and we are happy to sell our sisters in Indian brothels. We don’t know how to respect each other but we are very eager to bow to foreigner why??? Why a Nepali can’t be respect other Nepalese thoughts even he or she dislikes the thought ?

History has proved that it is easy to start revolution but it is very difficult to transform it into a system that works for ppl. Who is going to transform present revolution into a working system Maoist?? Communism is a history. SAP??, they were not able to handle the multiparty democracy and may be some ppl still thinking king is the only capable leader (dream on, system with active king will never work).

Building a workable system starts with saying “I don’t agree with you, but I defend your right to express” like Voltaire once said
