anybody knows if you have to be a green card holder or citizen to collect your lotto winning? I have talking about big winning, not one or two dollars winning.

no you don't. instead if u have won more than 50,000 dollars then you can get permanent resident. i know a student( a nepalis) in texas who have got green card after winning 75000.

In my opinion, you don't have to be a green card holder or US citizen to collect a lotto. However, you need to be in legal immigration status. If the lotto price is really high, you may be granted green card right on the spot because they want to invest that money inside the US.

I heard that you have to invest minimum of 1 million dollar to get green card...i am surprised to hear that you can get it with just $75,000. Wretch...do you have any more information on how he got GC with $75,000?
