If we go back and read loud our National Anthem, all it does is praises Shah Kings as if we are their slaves. Some flaws are
- It praises only Shah Kings
- It doesnot praise Nepal or Nepalese
- It doesnot praise the history of Nepal
- Only focus is Shah Kings
- It prays only for well being of King and his family not for Nepal and Nepalese
- Moreover it does not address any minorities community of Nepal

I think if our national anthem does not address us then we should definately change it.

We will worry about that later. First we need to change the Autocratic regime into Democratic Republic.

Rato Ra Chandra Surya...Jangi Nishaan Haamro
Jiudo Ragat Sari Yo.....Baldo Yo Shaan Haamro

Yes, it's time that we change our national anthem. No more praises for one single man , and also no reference to 'Praja failisyoss...." (nepal is already over crowded).

Probably the Maoists would want only few changes I guess because the current national anthem already mentions the name of their leader Prachanda.

If you are not sure, read the national anthem word by word.

आशा गरौ भोली को दिन मा हाम्रो पनि अरुको जस्तै भित्र बाट आफ्नो देश्, जनता र एतिहसिक सफलता बोकेको राष्ट्रिय गान सुन्न पाइयोस । के लेख्ने भन्ने आइडिया त मलाई छ तर शब्द म उतर्ने ढंग छैन के गर्नु , भोली पर्सी राष्ट्रिय गान लेख्ने कमिटी बन्यो भने apply गर्नु पर्ला

What can be more Sajha than rastriya gan drafted from sajha with contribution of all nepalese.

I am not a singer or song writer other wise I would have started with few lines.

I agree with all that our first target should be to get rid of Gyanendra, but I think at the same time we should also plan for change in Nepal. I think without preplan we might run into to consequences of vaccum afther old regime is thrown out.
