I think it's about time.

I am watching that and Pope is not yet declared dead. But may god give him a very easy death and may his soul live in peace.

Doctors have said, he won't and have already given hope, I believe even for 24 hours. But is still alive. Very sad to know, one of the great person is dying.
The guess is, Jesus will open door for pope sometime tonight.

He has been more political figure than what he has been portrayed as. Everybody who supports him make big fuss about Pope around the world... with the power of their money and campaigning.. otherwise he is not saint.

The Pope was a reactionary who tried to turn back the clock on modern reality. His ultra-conservative theology, which prohibits female ordination and prohibits birth control and abortion. He brands the notion of over-population a myth and says the use of condoms as a precaution against AIDS only encourages the behavior that leads to the spread of the disease. Millions of people are dying in Africa for which (indirectly) he is a cause.

If you happy with the weak situation of socialist political system in the world at this time of history, he was the main cause of uprising in Poland which started the fall of Eastern European Communism.
