Can anyone give some idea what procedures should be followed to obtain H1 visa stamped in passport in Toronto to return back to USA ? I have got the canadian PR and entering to Canada. - Please some sincere advise....

These are the documents that you will need.


*** H1B To H1B ***
1. Original I-797
2. Copy of LCA (Labor Condition Application)
3. Copy of I-129, certified by your lawyer or company
4. Current employment letter from your company Human resources, stating your position with the company, date of employment and salary information.
5. Original degree and transcripts
6. Passport with I-94. Passport must be valid for at least 6 months.
7. EAD card (Employment Authorization Document)
8. Recent check stubs
9. DS156 application form with one passport size photo (Two DS156 and two photos for following countries: Cuba, North Korea, People's Republic of China, Russia and Vietnam.)
10. Appointment letter for visa (If you don't have the appointment letter, reference number is OK.
11. Federal and State Tax return and W-2 forms.
12. Information from previous employment


*** F1 To H1B ***
1. Offer letter from your employer stating date of employment and salary information.

3. Passport with I-94. Passport must be valid for at least 6 months.

9. Company information if available, type in a great quote from the journal that lifts the profile of your company and products.

I - 129 is the petition form that your employer files on your behalf. Ask for its copy if you already don't have it.
You can set up the appt at https://www.nvars.com/

Well, no explicit advices were given, just a list of docs needed to secure the h1 stamp @ the consulate.
