The Nepali Muslim population now is about 5% of the the total population in Nepal, up from 2.9% about 10 years ago. Read many news items in the Indian media that the Indian Muslim population is increasing more than twice the rate of the Hindu population. Also, Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world.

Further, there are only two Hindu countries whereas the Muslims have more than 60 countries, and have 1.3 billion followers worldwide.
