Earlier on I had hoped that Ottawa Senators would get to the finals..and I felt so disgusted to see Toronto Maple Leafs (despite Toronto being my home city) screw up the Senators and get themselves being screwed up by the Phillys.

Ya looks like it ha! Calgary is playing pretty good. Looks lie its gonna be Tampa Bay and Calgary on the finals.

I would like Calgary to win but I think Philly is the team to beat.Their physical play by the forwards might be too much to handle for teams like Tampa and whoever they face in the fianls. Calgary on the other hand has players like Jerome Iginla who are talented enough to change teh games around just like that..Anyway Calgary has played as a team...most of the players have contributed to some sort..so I think they will be pretty tough to beat..

I do not follow Hockey that much since Rangers stink so much. I saw couple playoff games between Red Wings vs Calgary ( Chris Chelios used to my best player while with Blackhawks). I was impressed with the Flames. In those games, they seem to have more energy than Red Wings. Seems like with the addition of great end of dynasty in motor city.

What happened to Colorado Avalanche? I thought that was the team to beat with the addition of Paul Kuriya and Selanne(???)

Sharks finished off the Avalanche to reach the conference final.

I guess it has to do with team chmistry. I thought adding Kuriya and Selanne would better their lineup which had good players like Forsberg, Sakic, Blake and Foote.

I wish Avalanche was on stanley cup finals but what can i say. They got beaten by stinky Sharks. I just fell bad because looks like this is Peter Forsberg's last game in NHL. He is ready to go to sweden to play on his home team Modo. Oh well Avs still has Super Joe, Abby, Hejduk, Tanguay and Blake. They will be fine. There is always next year and i fell bad because avs never got chance to play freckin' Hot Wings or i am sorry Red Wings on Playoffs.

Ax, Rangers needs to stop giving all the "B" class players 10+ millions dollars and focus on the building the team. The are acting like yankees but they not gonna go anywhere with that kind of attitude.

Do you really think Sharks stink? lol I dont think so or else they wouldnt be in the semis. Avs came back behind Sakic's two OT goal but the series was totally dominated by the Sharks. Last night Sharks beat the Calgary..and brought the series down to 2-1..

Rangers never make make good personnel moves..They try to get good estbalished playes but once they land in Rangers uniform they seem to suck..They need to have good young players and built it from there..

I agree Chankhe, Dolan and company have a history of paying more to aging players. They own Knicks, Rangers. NYC deserves better products. They should better learn from Yankees. Yankees still rule NY.

Chankhe, When you said Avs and their future, I didn't see you referring to Selanne and Kuriya. Is this duo playing that Bad? I remember Kuriya took a huge pay cut just to play alongside with Selanne. Weren't they superstars while with Mighty Ducks just few years ago?

If i am not wrong Kariya and selanne has been most productive players after Joe Sakic from 1996-2003. But what can i say they didn't do good with Avs. Selanne had i think 76 goals on his rookie season, thats unheard of and Kariya took Mighty Ducks to Stanley Cup finals last year. Kariya was injured most of the season, even on playoffs and Selanne just didn't click with Sakic. About thier future i am pretty sure they will be gone. Avs is trying build another Stanley Cup contender team with Sakic, Abby, Blake and Foote and who knows who they gonna bring next.

Rangers got Jagr, Russian Rocket(Ex Mr. Anna Kournikova), Lindros and Bobby Holik. I thought that's pretty good players. Once they used to be superstars while with previous teams. Hopefully next year, they will perform better next year.

ya i wish it was same with basketball too. Its fun if there is no value for home court advantage.
