Registry update WTF....DACA and TPS holders without dual status. Basically saying, if you are F1, H1B with TPS status then you won't qualify for the registry. You have to be unlawfully living in the US for certain periods with TPS only. I am not sure. That's what the messenger is telling me.

Unlawful presence (now or in the past ) is not a requirement for the current registry program. So if they just update the date of registry, people in dual, single or no status will all qualify as long as they have been living here continuously since the updated registry date. @Sexy in Sari Yes, the registry enables these otherwise ineligible applicants to adjust status but this doesn't mean it excludes people on a temporary or non-immigrant status. There is no such requirement otherwise USCIS page on registry would mentioned that for sure. Also see https://www.americanprogress.o... Immigrants—both undocumented immigrants and immigrants with other temporary statuses—could qualify for the registry provisions if they met the registry’s arrival date, had lived in the United States continuously since then, and were of “good moral character.”

U guys are being dumb, or your judgements are clouded. The Parliamentarian who just ruled against including an immigration bill that tried to legalize a sub group of immigrants that already has some form of protection along with public sympathy, would allow to give blanket amnesty to everybody ? That, Its just A simple matter of changing a date in registry??? (one that hasn't been updated in 50 years ?i m pretty sure there are a dozen more laws with cutoff dates where some form of amnesty were given for some pretty serious crimes. Imagine if you can just change the dates on those. Why would reagan had to pass 1986 immigration reform if changing the date was that easy ) ??? Come on now. You guys were so sure of this bill passing just a few days ago before the parliamentarians ruling, that U are all in shock now. And cant think straight. Immigration reform 2021 is over now.
