With market down and no clear solution in sight, it looks to be trending down for some time. I think there might be some opportunity for buyers to scoop out some stocks at discount price.

Anyone has any suggestion on what they have their eyes set on?

I am planning to buy some commodity stocks including some oil. Staying away from airline, food and hospitality (at least for near future).

Market is going crazy today. Most of my stocks are at record value. Hope it calms down a bit.

Market is going mad. I am really close to my goal. I did not expect this to happen so quickly.

Despite the unknown future, the overall market will perhaps be down for the initial part of today only. People might be taking profits given that there is no bad economic news release in particular while the market still slid. Who knows, anyway, what's truly driving the sentiments.

Chicagoan, congratulations to you! I am certain you will reach your goal. It's just a matter of time.

Dear all,
what "liquid net worth" should an investor attain in order to generate passive income that can meet your normal yearly expenses?

Thank you. I set a reasonable goal.

For your question, go by 4% rule. You have to have enough money so that 4% of it will cover your yearly expenses. For example, you should have 3 million saved if your yearly expenses are 120k.

Hi Drogba, Tlry has a short interest of only 7%, will that qualify for a squeeze?
