Hi, I applied TPS renewal on Nov 17, 2016. It is not approved yet. Is it normal? Its been more than 4 months now. Really worried. Is anyone in the same situation? or is it just me.What can we do to find out why is it getting delayed? or if we can do anything to expedite the process?
Any information is appreciated. Thank you.

Hi CNTRYBOY977- Online status says "Fingerprint fee is received and it is in processing". Anyone on the same boat? My I485 is in processing. And now TPS is renewal is pending too. I have no other status than TPS. Is it okay to be in TPS pending while I485 is in processing. I hope they will not raise question against pending TPS during interview and they will not consider TPS pending as illegal stay? please suggest

Hi _SAJHA_NEPALI- Do you know if it is normal that TPS is taking that long? Do you know if others are in same boat?

I am in the same condition. I called them and they said we should give them at least 6 months for the processing. I suggest you call them and you can get information specific to your case. Apart from this all we can do is to wait.

Thank CNTRYBOY977 for infomation. I think the only thing I can do is wait. I have a question though, if you can help. I had EAD approved from TPS. But I didn't apply for renewal while I applied TPS renewal. So, lets say if my TPS renewal gets approved in coming days, will I be able to apply for EAD renewal too? since I didn't apply for renewal. Can I apply for AP too? Thanks in advance.

Thank you HAWAGIRI for the update. I have a question though ( I have posted earlier too).

I have a question though, if anyone can help. Or should I apply for new EAD itself rather then applying for renewal?

My understanding is you can apply for AP anytime as long as you have TPS approved. I am not so sure about the EAD though. And, If you haven't applied for renewal I don't think you'll be eligible for either EAD or AP. I'll check with lawyer if such is the situation. Thanks

Thanks HAWAGIRI, if you can find out that will be great. Appreciated. Also, do you know any good lawyer(nepali) who can provide good consultation (I heard sometime they give free consultation for first timers, is that true?

I have applied on December and its still pending. I think its same with everyone. Called USCIS and they said we can only wait and minimum time to get renewal is six months.
