 About tax in nepal

I was just curious if we pay tax at all in Nepal? I remember paying fees in Malpot for land and vehicle renewals. But I have never heard about anyone paying income tax? What about if you run a business? Do they pay any income tax? If they don't pay any taxes, what is the point of registering it? Also, do all business ans hotels register as needed by law? Just curious..

Yes they do and they made money out of VAT too.
