Hello Sajha friends, I am planning to buy a house next year. So Instead of putting money in the bank, wanna invest on something for a year. Any Idea where I can use 50-80K for a year?

Investing comes with risk and reward. Lowest risk/reward - bonds, CDs, MMS Highest risk/reward - leveraged ETFs Everything else (stocks, gold, commodities etc.) comes in between those. PS: This is my raw knowledge.

You won't get much return in 1 year. But you could earn dividend if you invest in low volatility high dividend index fund or just buy utility stocks.

If you need the money in <2 years, put at least 80% of the money in bond funds, CDs etc If you don't need the money for a while, put more towards equities. PM me if you need further help. I work as a finanacial analyst.

Listen to others as to just hold the cash off if you plan to buy house next year. Or takeout a CD. Or just don't buy the house and bet on Mr. Elon Musk :) Buy $TSLA - ignore the house - rent it out. Ok, seriously, don't buy stock for a year.
