Hi Everyone!
I received Green Card through asylum. I want to travel to India to visit my family. What documents do I need. I still have my valid MRP Nepali passport. Do I need to file for a refugee travel document? Also, do I need to get visa for India. Please share your experience if you have one. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thank You

You can travel to India with your MRP passport. No visa required. No need for refugee travel document.

If you've won asylum, I would be surprised if you can ever get back here once you travel out of this country.
I can count people in fingers who didn't listen to not to travel abroad(country of birth) but they did, and now they are not in this country.
You can ignore my message, travel out of this country and when you couldn't get back here, my words will reverberate in your mind.
Good luck.

Bittu, not true at all.
Khossbu, ignore Bittu's comment. He is one of guy who is against GC through asylum. So he is just trying to scare you. I have seen 100s people doing that without problem.

Instagram bro, you may not know what you are talking about.
This individual seems to have won asylum through which then permanent resident card. If she travels even back to India, it is highly unlikely that she would ever get back here. She must be a naturalized citizen with American passport to travel which she's not. With her PR card, she won't be allowed to enter US soil. Trust me.

Check this USCIS exact literature, hopefully that will shine some light in your heads.

I agree with others. With GC through asylum with Nepal as the country of eligibility, she can easily travel to India and come back.

First fake US Immigration to lure GC/citizenship with asylum fraud and then disobey immigration law. Think twice, ur negligence could cost thousands other Nepalese who went through asylum fraudulent.
