Hello All,

How is everyone? i have a favor to ask for. I am trying to apply for tourist visa for my Maa and buwa. But, when i came to states in the relationship certificate, I had me, my father and mother listed in it.

I have a brother who is in Australia and they have already been there to visit him. If during the interview they ask about Australia visit. What should they say? Since, in the relationship certificate we did not show my brother.

Will that be an issue during the interview?

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks so much..

Is your Maa and mother the same person or different person?

Your parents' visit to Australia would not be any issue,as far as I know, it would rather be a plus point that the visa consular might be convinced that they will be returning back to Nepal after a short visit.

His question is not about his parents travel to Australia, his question is about if the embassy determines he provided false information during his interview by not putting his brother in family relationship certificate. Coz if the officer asks his parents why did they go to australia and they responded to visit their other son, the officer might say that son was not listed in family tree when he applied for his visa. So if the officer determines he provided false information or hid the information during his interview, his parents visa could be denied.
In my opinion, there is a risk but it depends on the officer. good luck

Why don't you make another relationship certificate with whoever was left out , you do not need to be physically present in Nepal, I made the same a long time ago. Piece a cake !

Now a days there is no need of relationship certificate to be presented during interview.
The consular will ask yr parents how many children they have.
They should tell the truth. Unless you have told in the visa interview you are only child.

Why do ppl like about their siblings? Who spread t he rumor thathat would increase their chance of getting visa? It just creates unnecessary headache later on when u have to sponsor your parents or siblings.

First thing first, Nepal is only among those a few countries in the whole wide world that have something called "Relationship Certificate". If you guys have lived in the US long enough, have you supplies such US relationship certificate. It is only required in Nepal. US embassy doesn't give a damn about it. They care A LOT about birth certificate, which will have your parents info. That's about it.

So don't sweat it, dude. No reason to make it more complicated. Like someone said, their visit to AUS actually helps them.
