Make sure it will run with Local pal system, if not you have to buy an adapter made in china for 2500-3500
Custom is 250 per inch ( May Be?  Not sure>). You have to pay for luggage charge for oversize luggage $125-150?
Hay it may be worth it?

I think its still worth it....the new ones for 67 inch costs about 6 lakhs in Nepal.....even if i pay the custom and oversize luggage
@ny2 its 250/ inch which will come out to 16750 and 150 extra luggage charge....I just wanna make sure it will work fine with the adapter and I won't have a lot of problem clearing custom

@looser....So you were looking for an information, i provided you correct info, someone else provided u incorrect info and now you are telling me i am wrong!!!!
Take your 67" TV to nepal and pay less than Rs 1200 per inch at the Ktm airport then you tell me that I am a real looser. Just for your info, if you've been staying outside Nepal for less than 6 months, it's Rs 1250 per inch. I guessed u've been out of Nepal for more than 6 months, so told you it's Rs 1200 per inch.

I agree with you though, it's still cheaper taking the TV to Nepal rather than buying over there.

Just to let you know that my friend had taken 2 smart Tvs to Nepal. Now, both of them are not working and he regrets it taking it from here. Adapter issues, voltage issues etc etc and on top of that, like ny2 mentioned, you might have to pay around 80 to 90 k. Decision is urs.

In Nepal tv transmission is not nd, not digital, except for few channels all are ad. Ad transmission in nd tv of that size does not look smooth. Smaller nd tv will work. Bigger screen are not suitable, I think.

Is there anyone here who had a first hand experience about custom, bands, frequency etc while taking tv from here....I appreciate the comments but I would just like to hear it from the person himself.
