I am just done with java training, now I am entering into marketing phase. Since I am from engineering background, I am still trying to figure out how the interview process and work environment are gonna be. I know a lot of java gurus are out there who been through same route. Any help and suggestion from experienced ones are highly appreciated.

make sure you know lots and lots of core java stuff.
apart from that having adequate knowledge on opensource framework is worthwhile.
google it and figure it out yourself if you want to be pro in java. :)
