Hello folks,

I am planning on going to Niagara falls and then to Toronto on a personal vehicle.  However, I do not plan to drive around Toronto on my personal vehicle.  I will probably use hop on/hop off to see around the city.  I appreciate responses from those who have taken own vehicle to Canada and let me know how I need to plan and any potential issues that may arise beside visa issues.  I think being a PR of US I may not need to worry about visa issues.

Thanks,

I have been to Toronto in my car. You can take train once you are there. Just make sure your insurance coverage meets Ontario's requirement, and don't forget to take registration and/or title. You need them only if a cop stops you.
Cheers

To add to Sparty's point, call your insurance company. They might be able to give you insurance paperwork valid for Canada for free.

Thanks guys.  I looked at the website of my insurance provided and it does recommned making an insurance card for trip to Canada.  Since you guys have been to Toronto, do you think two days would be enough to travel around the city?  Any particular point of interst that you would recommend?
