For more information:

 A. Purpose: This survey is intended to provide information about the process Nepali students go through to decide their chosen topic/major to study in college. In some countries students must declare their major academic field in their tenth or eleventh year; in other nations students can wait to decide until they are within two or three years from university graduation. Thus, we want to understand how students in Nepal make this decision. In addition, promotion to the next higher grade level in some countries is determined by national standardized examinations completed at the end of the school year; whereas other counties base promotions on periodic classroom exams. Therefore, a second purpose of this survey is to learn how Nepali students receive their promotions.

B. Duration of Participation: It takes approximately 5 minutes to complete the survey.

C. Procedure:Please answer all questions as forthrightly as possible. By completing this survey honestly, educators in other parts of the world will learn about the Nepali university system and how it compares to their own education system.

D. Confidentiality: Do not put your name on the survey. All responses are anonymous and confidential. Only the researchers will see them.

E. Risks: There are NO risks in participating in this study.

F: Approval: This study has been reviewed and approved by Institutional Review Boards (IRB)at Arkansas State University and Troy University in the USA .
