why is everyone writing the article on how Obama won and what does it mean to Nepal.Honestly it does not really matter because either it is Democrats or republicans.America has same policy against Nepal which is not going to change.

This lady is definitely a very good writer. But i think what we as a foreign student in US should grasp out of this election is kind of politics this country holds.Of course billions of dollars are spent but at the end of the day both parties had the same motive.

It is really frustating to see in Nepal that if a PM of Nepal holds any gathering people hover the party flags rather than the national flag and people supporting him would be the people from his party.Rarely we see the Nepali flags going around except if it is some kind of violence.

But in America,if you see speech by Obama or Romney you can see people carrying the American flag and they enchant god bless america and rarely we get to hear people enchanting party oriented slogans.

Ultimately lesson learnt is Democracy does not mean to use your power and throw the PMs every 6 months.Democracy ultimately is with the people. If they chose someone and send him to the government let him drive the nation his way for 4 years and than rest can be handled.
