My friend was on H1B and his change of status is denied from H1 to F1. What are the options left other than going back home or being illegal. Please help him by sharing your experience and knowledge

regards

is your friend married?

if so then tell him to do COS of spouse from H4 to F1.....after this he can change to F2 from H1......there is more chance of approval then doing H1 to F1.......crappy KAALE presidents policies are sucking everywhere......gotta be careful these days.....

Dear rajansharma9,

What did your friend do? What options did he take? Is it possible to re-appeal the denial?

Is it possible to go back to Nepal and re-apply for F1 (if done so, what are the chances of approval)?

Please share your knowledge. Thank you.
