Dear Sajha friends,

My asylum application was denied by an asylum officer and was referred to the court. I went for the first hearing and then terminated my case because I was employed. I am in H1b status currently, but my employer decided not to renew my contract. That means, I will be out of status on July 31st 2015. My lawyer told me that we can re open my old asylum case, what do you think I should do?
I also think that I can launch a new application while I am still in status, but my lawyer denies to do so.

Please suggest what I can. I was so much stressed with these going on, all help is appreciated. God Bless you all!
